February 19: Chinatown YMCA Run for the Kids – Provide 2 EMTs to set up a table at Portsmouth Square. EMTs contact Norm Caba.
Feb 27-29: AFA Ski Trip: Reno hotel and Northstar Ski resort. Contact Carol Conley if you want to go.

March 17: St Baldricks Foundation, Support OJ Leonardo, Doug Manguiat, and Norm Caba as they shave their heads to raise money to cure children’s cancer.
March 31: Fight for Air Climb, Bank of America Bldg; Support Greg Collaco and Shon Buford as they climg the B of A Bldg twice.
April 21-22?: Cherry Blossom Festival; AFA will be cooking at the Cherry Blossom Festival. Parade on Sunday the 17th. Family and friends welcome. Volunteers needs at the food booth as well as march in the parade. Contact Chuey Kotake or Keith Onishi. (Canceled our booth)

Aug 11-12?: Pistahan Parade/Filipino Art Exhibition: Parade is on Saturday at 11am. Opening ceremonies start at 10am at Main and Market; Call John Caba at Station 7 if you can drive a rig in the parade.
Need Volunteers to staff First Aid/AFA informational booth. This will be both Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Oct 6-7: Filipino International Book Festival, Main Library and Fulton Street. Provide First Aid Table for festival which will double as AFA informational table. This is also the kick-off event for Filipino Heritage Month. Contact Norm to volunteer.

October 20?: Kimochi Inc. fundraiser Sansei Live. Contact Keith Onishi.
Nov ?: School Visit. Lowell High School, Fil-Am Club.
Nov 22: Thanksgiving Day, Meet at 9:30am: serving meals to seniors at Lady Shaw Center (Mason & Broadway) and distribution of hot lunches to Seniors.
Dec 7?: Cooking at Toys, Meet at 10am. Attire: Hawaiian shirts.
Dec 8?: Parol Lantern Festival/Parade (Filipino Christmas Lantern)
